We have been having a delicious dining experience every two weeks since Ilda opened. We love the grilled ceasar, which we share, mussels and especially lamb bolanase. Antoine makes our coctails to perfection! Staff is always helpful in anyway they can.

Ilda’s is always on point. Food is amazing, service is first rate and the an atmosphere is just right! It’s a go-to spot when we are in town.

This place is pretty much the best place in the Franklin Silva Dillsboro area. A little pricey but it's worth it. I believe it's reservations only

When my wife recommended we try Ilda in Sylva, NC, we looked at the menu and while the prices are what one would expect for fine dining, I was concerned with that thing that's happened too many times where you expect fine dining and end up with mediocre food and service and end up pissed off because it wasn't worth it. I'm happy to say that our gamble paid off and that is NOT THE CASE with Ilda.

As a commercial airline pilot I've flown all over the world over the 40 years I've been working and have eaten everywhere from Vietnam to Buenos Aires, from Dubai to Rome and the fact is that Ilda stands out as one of the best restaurants I've ever experienced -- and it's in SYLVA, NC!

My wife and have foolishly not chanced it in the four years it's been open because - well, we just didn't know. Last night we walked in and while we couldn't get a table (I suggest you have a reservation!), but thankfully there were seats at the bar. We were greeted by Ryan and Antoine who provided outstanding cocktails, service, and conversation. The menu is awesome so as usual, we over ate, but everything we tasted was perfect. We had Karen's Meatballs as an appetizer which will be hard not to order when we return. We split a Grilled Caesar which had Anchovy Breadcrumbs that were packed with flavor, and we ordered the Mafaldini and Local Mushroom Fettuccine as entrees. Everything, and I mean everything - again the service, the atmosphere, the conversation, and the food were excellent. Unfortunately there was no belly room left for desert, though next time we go I'd like to try the Tiramisu which is highly recommended.

All I can say is that Ilda is not what I'd expect to find in Sylva, NC. It is truly on par with any of the best food I've experienced in Italy. If you don't go it gives us a better chance of getting a table next time.

Recently went to a ILDA cookout at Darnell Farms in Bryson City and the food was excellent! Cant say enough about these guys and would recommend with 4 AAAA+

Bad food. Arrogant ‘friend of the owner’ would rather argue with customers than accept when a dish is undercooked/overcooked. Wild rice should never be crunchy that it hurts someones teeth. A slight chew is fine but thats not what they served me. Thats called undercooking. Trout also shouldn’t be so dry. Don’t go here.

The hidden secret of Sylvia, NC. Well, I guess it's not so secret because they were very busy on a Friday night. The food was delicious and the cocktails were amazing, not to mention that the service was outstanding.

Immaculate vibes and incredible pasta! I was so surprised and delighted by the food and drink menu at Ilda! The pasta was perfect on all fronts. My only meh of the night was the tuna carpaccio because of the spices used on it (masala maybe? Felt too warm for a raw summer fish dish) but even that was good! Otherwise, the wine, food, music, atmosphere and service were all amazing. I can’t wait to visit again.

After a recommendation & good google review we were disappointed. Service was not great the waitress came back to our table after our appetizer and asked what do you want next? Odd question when all we ordered was appetizer, salad & 2 entrees. Salad was extremely salty almost like they put salt all over it instead of pepper. I ordered duck - the fat was not rendered and/or crispy at all all meat just very mushy - I did not get the meat. My husband’s meal was good. They did not charge us for the appitizer as she recommended it & we did not like it- which was nice of her - no bread at all offered or with our orders
Menu looks iniviative & excellent but food did not live up to what we were expecting. Nice atmosphere - would not go back :(

Visiting from DC and ILDA is as good or better than any Italian fine dining spot in DC. The grey eagle cocktail is sublime. We had the pachieri and bolognese and were blown away by the pasta texture and flavorful, but not heavy sauces. Our server was warm and went above and beyond for us. If you’re visiting the area, you have to go to ILDA.
