Myself and a coworker came in today with a big order for work. Josie was working the store by herself and done a PHENOMENAL job!! Highly recommend this place and a huge kudos to Josie.

Yelp says I've checked in here 35 times; I think I might have forgotten a couple times. And I'm from out-of-state! Waffle cones are the star here! Get your ice cream in a waffle cone and get 2 flavors in the small, medium, or large!

I saw this on Tiktok and gave it a try! This is honestly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I got the cheesecake caramel cookie monster and it was amazing, thank you to the staff for being so patient and sweet while we ordered.

Ok... this is a rarity. If other ice-cream shops like at the beach ever caught on to the hot fresh waffle cones, they would put all the others out of business. Phenomenal. Plus, on the day i attended they were partnering with a community organization to help raise funds. Community matters. They are already an institution in Sylva. In my little review doesn't matter, but I just wanted to give them five stars for all they do.

Just visited Jack the Dipper in Sylva. Online says they are open until 10pm. We arrived at 6:45 to get milkshakes and ice cream cones for my son’s birthday. As we go to order our ice cream, the girl working informed us that we would not be able to get waffle cones because she already cleaned the waffle maker. Confused, I asked her what time they close. She said 7. Ok, my son then switched and said he would order a milkshake only to be informed that she cannot do milkshakes because she already cleaned that machine too. This is so unprofessional and ridiculous. If she was in such a rush to get off work she should have locked the door and not let anymore customers in. Completely ruined our plans for a birthday treat, all due to the laziness and incompetence of an employee.

I enjoy the food and the service is alright but the place sucks at management. If you are considering working here for a job, as someonewho previously worked here, I strongly suggest finding a different job.

Very disappointed in our experience at this location. Always had great dessert at Franklin location but was in the area and thought we'd go here. The hot fudge on the sundae was minimal and just a big clump of a mess. Not sure if it just wasn't heated up right? Looked like she had issues with the whip cream too and it came out in a big sloppy mess.

I love the new spoons! No more bent spoons not being able to pick up my ice cream! They are so supportive of the ice cream and they are compostable so a win for the earth and a win for my ice cream!
