Me and my family are up from Florida. We love going to Jack the dipper today. My kids wanted to go so as usual we loaded up to head that way when we pulled into the parking lot there was a group of five guys outside and it looked like there was going to be an altercation. The instigator was yelling and cussing with my kids present. He was yelling threats, and saying off the wall things the guys he was yelling at got in their vehicles and proceeded to leave and then the gentleman who was doing all the yelling during the altercation went inside and talk to who was ever working in Jack the dipper like nothing had happened and was able to go on about his day like he hadn’t caused a scene… it seemed to me that he knew whoever was working, I have been coming here for years and am very sad to see that whoever was in the store at the time running the place allowed him to come in and act like he hadn’t just threatened people very loudly. Luckily my children and I never got out of the car to go in, and I don’t think we will be returning based on this most recent experience ☹️

Excellent ice cream flavor choices. You can get more than 1 flavor in your cone too! We had cookie doughlicious, salted caramel and stawberry cheeswcake. Made to order waffle cones available in vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon. I would have this location a 5 except the customer service was disappointing. We had to get the young lady off of her phone for service. Although she was slightly pleasant; she rushed us thru our order and went back to her phone. She was out of sight and never came back to see if we needed anything.

Every time we come to NC to visit, we get a waffle bowl from here and a pizza from Lil Caesars!! JTD never fails! ❤️❤️

Icecream was good, creamy. The girl working was excellent, it was in the evening she was working by herself. There were probably 15 people in there waiting to order. Some people tuned around and walked out when they saw the line. She worked as fast as humanely possibly to take care of all the patrons.

Just left from this place,I went in because my husband was craving ice cream.
The cashier was on her cell don't know if that's the reason she over charged.
I payed $18,71 for a small & medium cup.
To me is ridiculous.

Fabulous ice cream! The waffle cones are homemade...and sooooo good. The staff are fri ndlt, helpful, and talk to her everyone with respect.
