This has to be the absolute best breakfast and lunch in the Sylva area. The staff are all friendly and make you feel welcome. If you are in WNC, skip Asheville and come to Lucy in the Rye.

The food is good. The breakfast burrito I has was huge so I had to take some of home. We had biscuits and gravy and the gravy had a very unique taste. It was a little spicy. I would eat there again.

My daughter is a huge chicken and waffle fan. She said it’s the best she’s ever had. I had the smoked salmon benedict and the cheesy grits. Both were made to perfection. Relaxed atmosphere and great service! Do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after a night of Polar Express in Bryson City. It was PHENOMENAL. The best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Everything is made from scratch, the OJ was freshly squeezed. The atmosphere and service was superb. I can’t say enough about this place 💙 We will make sure this is our brunch spot anytime we are in NC.
