It was 7:00 pm on Valentine's Day. Friendly Seafood was busy; yet we were able to get a table rather quickly. My husband and I chose to get the shrimp special (small shrimp, three sides, a drink, and cake for $10.99). We were served plenty of food, which was absolutely delicious. The coleslaw homemade and was so good. The shrimp was fresh and fried to perfection. I do not know our server's name (I think she told me that her husband makes the coleslaw); but she was cordial and attentive. We had a great experience. Is there an unwritten rule that only friendly people can eat there because even the other patrons were friendly? I highly recommend this restaurant.

Grow up here came to visit from Charlotte nc Food was just as special as i remember it the shrimp and grits is amazing ! I messed up on my order and forgot to tell them no bacon and they fixed it fast great service we need more restaurants like this in America !!

Visited yesterday mother and I ordered and when food came oysters scallops and sweet potatoes were burnt rice was clunked together for what people pay to eat the food should be better than this told both wait staff but nothing the 1st one we told she avoided our table after that we use to love friendly s but from now on we will drive to calabash .This doesn't even deserve 1 star.
