One of the best restaurants in this area. Beautiful place with a vibe of a home. Mom and daughter are both very welcoming. Foods are good and the coffee was great.

Very nice visit with the owners this week! Solid food for the creative palate… A Non traditional adventure in southern dining awaits the curious as the chef mixes flavors of southern, northern, and eastern influences into his fare! It’s definitely worth heading over to Tabor to have a treat. A Pistachio Cannoli, I mean… cmon!

Stopped here on the way from South of the border to Myrtle Beach because it was pretty much one of the only things along the way. Plus it had great reviews, that I now think we're great because it is one of the only restaurants in the area.
I got the shrimp and grits because of all the reviews and comments about how phenomenal they were. These comments were obviously from people that had never had shrimp and grits before. They definitely were not traditional, they did not have a roux. The sauce seemed to be a pretty tasteless Hollandaise sauce and not enough of it, pale frozen shrimp, with bag shredded cheese that was unmelted.
We also got three different wraps. A steak and cheese, the cuban, and the Tuscan chicken bacon wrap. The Cuban wrap was very good. The Tuscan and the steak and cheese might have been good but the cheese inside, again, was not melted and the inside of the sandwich was not very warm in general. I would think anyone that owned a restaurant would know not to use bag shredded cheese because it does not melt the same as freshly grated cheese.
I think with a few easy changes this could be a really good place.

Try the shrimp and grits! World class. Perfectly delicate shrimp. The Cafe is in a lovely historic home walking distance to the charming Main Street downtown. The owners are lovely.
