Ice cream Is delicious but staff seems like they’d rather be anywhere else. No one cracked a smile, said hey, or have a good day. We tried to be friendly but I guess it’s not contagious in there. How miserable can it be scooping ice cream?
Had supper at Dale's Seafood in Tabor City and asked where to get ice cream in the area. Several people responded, "Daddy Joes" and we were not disappointed. Sat outside at the tables until they turned the lights out after closing.
If you haven't been it a MUST!! Friendly and very welcoming atmosphere! The ice cream shop is adorable and plenty of homemade ice cream to choose from, they also have a great little spot outside with picnic tables and swings to enjoy your cool treat! My parents and I also loved that the outside eating area is Pet Friendly!!! we will definitely be back!!!
