“We are just so lucky enough that this little place is perfectly halfway between Raleigh and my parents. We decided to stop here for a quick lunch and though the heat was awful the food was amazing!We have definitely found our go-to meet up place.We tried the curry goat, j*** chicken, brown stew, Mac n cheese and cabbage. Favorite was easily brown stew, but everything was delicious. I do not think you can go wrong with anything on patrenas menu.Other notes: outdoor seating, so dogs are fine, but be careful of the heat!Also may want to pick up water from the nearby gas station, as they only have juices.“
