I moved from NY so I’ve been spoiled in my Chinese food but China City is true to their “NY Style”. We have consistently ordered from them over the past 4 years and they’ve never disappointed. They don’t have a few NY items due to lack of demand but everything else has been good, and trust me when I say we have worked our way through the menu. I’m admittedly not a fan of the hot and sour soup, although I am very particular to it so to each their own. The brown gravy is peanut infused, different from what I’m used to from NY, but I’ve gotten used to it. Whenever we have NY guests we always order the steamed dumplings and they get wiped out immediately- best item on the menu!

this is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant! I always get the teriyaki chicken skewers with the plain white rice and it's good every time. I love the sticky white rice and the flavor and texture of the chicken pairs so well with it. It's very cheap and they give you a lot of food. I have always ordered takeout and it is always still warm by the time I get home.

I order an egg drop soup the noodles part of it. It was so hard Like old also order eggfuyoug gravy was like pudding the food has change a lot I not going order no more

People have always joked around with them meat being cat or dog or rats and they always tasted different from chicken but today I really thing that the rumors are true because I got one of the supposed to be chicken on a stick on stick the first one I got looked like chicken but when I went to go back up there I grabbed one and as I was walking to sit back down I look at my supposed to be chicken on a stick but that crap look like a animal let

I frequently order from this establishment between pick-up and delivery. However, my recent experience was highly disappointing. During my 30-minute lunch break, I ordered General Tso’s chicken with pork fried rice only onions (without peas or carrots due to allergies). When I returned home and opened the food, I found metal fragments from a brillo pad in the chicken, as well as peas and carrots in the rice, despite specifying no peas or carrots. I returned to the restaurant to address the issue, but the front counter staff was unprofessional and dismissive. I explained the situation and requested my order to be remade and a refund, citing the inconvenience and the fact that I used my entire lunch break. The staff member responded dismissively, saying I could only have one or the other. I clarified that my receipt showed the correct order and that I did not request any metal in my food. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, especially given my background in hospitality management which i have 2 degrees in as well as Culinary degree. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment.
