I moved from NY so I’ve been spoiled in my Chinese food but China City is true to their “NY Style”. We have consistently ordered from them over the past 4 years and they’ve never disappointed. They don’t have a few NY items due to lack of demand but everything else has been good, and trust me when I say we have worked our way through the menu. this is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant! I always get the teriyaki chicken skewers with the plain white rice and it's good every time. I love the sticky white rice and the flavor and texture of the chicken pairs so well with it. It's very cheap and they give you a lot of food. I have always ordered takeout and it is always still warm by the time I get home.
Coming from where there was Chinese food everywhere so it had to be good to Thomasville, where there are only a few, it can be hard to find good Chinese food. This place has made the food more local (American), but in terms of the restaurants in the area, it is really good.
