The best place to eat in Thomasville. We both got the Reuben and it was cooked perfectly even down to the bread being perfectly toasted. Fast service as well, we had our food in front of us in less than 15 minutes from sitting down. The seating is not crowded either. Waitress was great and attentive. I will say the parking lot gave me anxiety because the parking is limited, had to park in the grass but it was well worth it. We will definitely be returning!
We love Max's especially on Thursday night chicken night but the food is very bland. The green beans could use some southern style. It would be great if he had homemade mashed potatoes. Just needs a little more flavoring in my taste. That is the reason why we really don't go there much anymore.
Food is ok; I would go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice to go back. It's "take a seat anywhere you want" kinda restaurant. And this is where things get lost. The worker doesn't notice if you just came in or ready to go. I had to make eye contact with one of the waiters to notice that I needed help. There are few tables open but there are still dirty dishes from the previous customer. Overall, it is ok.
