JJ's Side Street Deli LLC is an excellent and fun restaurant located inside an antique emporium. Known for serving the best Deli sandwiches, their salads and potatoes are also highly recommended. The prices are fair for the generous portions. Despite being packed, the chef quickly whips out delicious meals. They accommodate dietary restrictions with ease and are very kid-friendly. The friendly staff provides exceptional service, even when arriving at closing time. Shopping at the antique store adds to the unique dining experience.
The menu has expanded, now offering breakfast on Saturdays. Customers can enjoy a tasty half sandwich and soup at a reasonable price. Popular items include the huge stuffed baked potatoes and the ham, homemade pimento cheese and bacon sandwich on a buttered/toasted brioche bun, which was described as a strong contender for best sandwich ever. Sandwich trays, box lunches, and to-go orders are also available, making it a favorite among locals and those shopping in the Emporium.
The salads, especially the raspberry vinaigrette-dressed one, are praised as the best. JJ's has become a regular Friday night date night favorite for local customers, who have never been disappointed.
