Older diner, but nice atmosphere. Staff, waitresses were very pleasant, and the food was very good - hot, tasty and plenty of it. Very impressed.

The breakfast was amazing, and affordable. This place has perfect small town vibes and the staff was very nice, prompt and sincere.

This place has come down hill The food used to be really good now it's just plain out sucks it's fried chicken is so dried my friend got it they bought our food to the table it was all wrong it belong to the table behind us instead of going back and making the man behind us a plate because he ordered shrimp she just picked up the playoff our table and put it on his table and his plate had been sitting on our table for at least 10 minutes My girlfriend didn't touch his plate but she did touch his spoon and fork at the time because she thought it was hers and she was grabbing it from the lady come to find out it was not her plate so typically waitresses take it back and get them to redress it and put fresh on it because that's just the proper thing to do In this case she didn't do that she just picked up the plate off our table and turned around and hand it right on over to him me personally I would have had to dispute this if it was me going to be a while before I go back here then we were told we cannot upgrade our French fries on a combo to tater tots we have always upgraded always for like 85 cents more always and we've been coming here for almost 20 years off and on but day before yesterday we were told we couldn't upgrade our fries to tater tots I think I'll go across the street from now on to the old morning glories where you can get tater tots for an upgrade of 50 cents I didn't argue with the lady we just went ahead and got the fries I used to be able to get my drink and a styrofoam cup they don't even ask you no more they just bring you your glass I have a reason why I don't like to drink out of the glasses I prefer mine to be put into the styrofoam cup and the spaghetti is okay my other friend got that it's just noodles and sauce there's no melted cheese on there of course that's not baked spaghetti but geez it's like me making noodles at home throwing some butter on it and throwing the sauce on top of it there's not really no meat in there now they do make a French onion soup that's really good I will give them that maybe it was just an off night I don't know but it's going to be a while before my family comes back there needs to be some improvement kind of like getting yourself together when it comes to people ordering if it's going to be such a big deal to upgrade to tater tots then my gosh shaking my head My overall impression of this place is like going to a old house that is 200 years old and hasn't been dusted not being rude but all the employees stand behind the bar conversating about themselves and their lives and even some of the people that come in and out really not uplifting

My first time here was decent. The food was good, service was nice and quick. 2nd time here was genuinely not good. I usually refrain from negative reviewing but this was a little warranted. Both my meal and my friend's meal had a hair in it, the restaurant definitely seems to be falling apart structurely. The ice bin is held open by a latch which seems very unsanitary, I can imagine all the dust falling in that thing. The bathroom was kind of gross and the door doesn't lock nor close all the way, so anyone can just walk in. The rice in the salt looks years old and made me not want to put salt on my unseasoned food, at all.
The only good thing about this experience was the service and friendliness of the staff. I forgot our waitress's name but she had the Justice League apron. Very kind and punctual.
Most likely won't be back, unfortunately.

The food is the best
love this place
I went with a friend. The food was affordable and pretty good. It was a family atmosphere restaurant. Id eat there again. The menu is different daily and only the food for that day is available. Nice experience. Id eat there again
Kids meal ...chicken leg w/ fries.
My grand daughter was excited about getting a chicken leg. Most menus don't offer this on a kids menu. However, when her plate arrived the chicken leg look like a baby hen leg and was over cooked. Grand daughter age 6 never touched her chicken. Although she did like the fries. My daughter ordered the grill chicken, over cooked and dry. I ordered the chicken pie. Pie was burnt on bottom and the chicken was dry.
My peach cobbler was burnt. Daughters banana pudding was nasty. One bite she was done.
We got to go boxes.
Brought home a $38.00 meal and our dog was very happy.
Rare he gets people food, so he doesn't care about the taste. So it wasn't a total waste of money I guess.
Saddens me to see what once was a good place to eat take no pride in the food they serve their customers whom by the way help pay the bills due on their restaurant.
On a plus note...
Our waitress was very polite and served what she was given for our meal. Not her fault. She got a tip.
The cook/cooks really need to be replaced in my opinion.
This isn't my normal way of doing this but I have decided that if I'm having to pay more for a meal.
I'm going to express my opinion more on these reviews.
At the end of the night, my daughter lost what food she did eat. Thank God she didn't force herself to continue to eat more than she did.
I hope my honest review is read by the owner and they take it to heart vs a Closed / For Sale sign posted out front.

Great food and attention here. Good prices and fast service.
ALL Ws great
If you're open until 7:30 you stay open until 7:30. You don't close your kitchen 15 minutes early. Very unprofessional.
It was delicious. This gem serves breakfast all day, what more can you ask for. Every waitress was outstanding. It seems they all help each other. I will be visiting again.

I absolutely loved the food. Best dang country style steak I ever ate. It was so tender that I ate with a spoon. I definitely found a new place to eat and they also have amazing breakfast too. Very friendly staff, very friendly manager. Good Christian atmosphere. I'm so glad I decided to stop there. 5 star isn't enough credit. I rate them 10 stars. If you like homecooked food, please try it.
