This is a great little country diner out in the middle of nowhere. The food was very good. I had the seafood plate. Good size portions out of fair price. Not much on decor or atmosphere, but the food was really good.

My breakfast was good. They can definitely cook a good egg over medium. The bacon was good and I got 5-6 pieces. Overall the food was great but not worth the 40 minute wait. They are very slow even when not super busy.

I eat here about 3 times a month, a nice lady named Kadara is very polite answering the phone and Jennifer thanks for cooking dinner so I didn't have to! Go try out Country Kitchen!

Some people's expectations are set too high, apparently. This place is a great example of a traditional mom & pop country cafe. Staff is always friendly when I come by in the evenings and it doesn't take long for me to get my food, even when they're on the phone taking orders and there are more people in the dining area. Overall this is a great place and I don't understand the bad reviews. If you're taking a drive down 501 from Roxboro to Durham or vice versa this is a great little place to stop for a quick bite.

Over 30 minutes wait for a couple of take out biscuits. Chicken on the biscuit was a microwaved strip that was barely chicken. Fatback biscuit was amazing.

only eaten here twice. burger was ok, wouldn't get it again. best burger around is concord grill. 2nd visit, 2 people. 2 country ham sandwichs with egg and cheese.excellent. 2 order fries. crispy and hot, made to order, great. no drinks. damage was over $19.expensive but food prices crazy everywhere anymore. (I was sitting by open door to kitchen. could see FROZEN prefab burger patties getting pulled from freezer. better burger option is concord grill, they always use FRESH ground meat, made daily. )

Loved it , but the only thing I didn't care for was the has browns . All they were was the frozen kind that you just drop into the hot grease and they remove and me of McDonald's hash browns , nasty ! To the management, serve real homemade hash browns or country style homemade potatoes!!
