Went in and got seated on short order. Our sever JoeEllen was epic amazing she knew everything about the menu and the restaurant and history. As someone who enjoys the history of the places I dine that was nice If I'm up this way again I'd stop. The food was great staff wonderful and it has a lot of charm.”

“This place has brilliant flavors of popcorn, well worth a stop! The peanut butter was amazing and the dill was really good too. Unexpected little gem.They had chocolates and sweets, the praline was okay. They had a little bit of indoor seating although we didn't stay. Nothing spectacular inside but man the popcorn is good.”

“Arrived 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday morning. That was my fault for not checking the schedule, but they didn't mind a bit. Got 2 eggs scrambled bacon grits and toast. Cooked perfectly, and in less than 10 minutes. Waitress was extremely nice.”

“Not at their best this visit. I've had better. Service was slow. Food was off. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger & onion rings. Bacon was almost raw. Onion rings were almost burnt. Took over 30 minutes to get food. People who ordered their food after us got theirs first and were almost finished eating before we got our food.”

“Mya was our waitress and she was excellent! Service with a smile is a rare thing these days. The burger and cheesesteak we ordered were both excellent and a much higher quality than many other restaurants in the area! We also truly loved the ambience of the lanterns, it added to the whole feeling of being in a "fantasy" tavern. Really a cool vibe that can't be described, only seen-- it's Better in Person!”

“I just discovered that there was a ultimate bacon egg and cheese and let me tell you it's a game changer!! It got double the bacon double the cheese and double eggs on mine and omg the bacon was super crispy which is the way I like it and the eggs were fried just right and the cheese absolutely fabulous. Best Breakfast I had in a while from biscuitville. The only bad thing I have to say is I think the workers had forgotten their brains that day they forgot my husband's ham and he wasn't mad about it he just simply went up there with his receipt and asked for some ham and 10 people looked at him like ham what's ham?? It took him 10 mins to get a piece of ham with his platter by the time he sat back down his food was luke warm. Not a total deal breaker we all have our off days but the whole entire crew was a bit off putting.”

“This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have eaten at in North Carolina. Great service that never let's you drink reach the bottom. Plate sizes are large enough for even heavy eaters, enough for lunch or late night snack for the smaller eaters. We were brought here by our local friends and will insist on coming back when we visit again.”

“The ladies that work the grill here are so polite and sweet. The food is really good too. The Double CheeseBurger was really thick and juicy definitely a nice portion for a burger these days. ? My wife got the Barbecue Sand-which and it was delicious as well. We basically just wound up sharing everything it was so good. We were very surprised and delighted with the quality of the food. ?”

“Ice been coming here since they opened years ago. Their sandwiches, salads, and pastries are great! But they are understaffed and don't answer the phone for call in orders half the time and they are understaffed at lunch time, which is their specialty. I hope things improve.”
