Gillis Catering is my go-to for feeding a crowd. I've used them for my rehearsal dinner (had to show the yankees what good NC bbq is), and a 30 person family picnic (on multiple occasions). The food arrives on time, hot and ready to go. I've never been disappointed. And I highly recommend the hush puppies. No one orders these for a catering event because all other hush puppies get nasty when they cool off. Not true for Gillis. The mojo or love in those things make them ahhh-mazing...read full review
We had a tailgate at a recent Canes game and had Gills Catering cater the event. Steve and the team did a fantastic job — the pulled pork was excellent, and guests raved about a few of the sides (especially the hush puppies, mac & cheese, and corn on the cob). I recommended them to a friend immediately after the event — I'd absolutely order from them again!
