Riverside Restaurant and Provisions

We are so sad that this restaurant let us down. We liked 88 cafe but found the problem was the hours weren’t reliable. Now we have found the same to be true with Riverside Restaurant. We passed many places in West Jefferson but decided we would give you a try. Sadly, when we walked in at 6:30pm we were told you were closing early. Your restaurant will never make it if people can’t rely on the hours. Doesn’t matter how good the food is, people won’t drive there if they know it’s possible it will be closed when advertised that the hours are from 11-9 on Thursday and you are closed at 6:30.

We have missed this place being open- love this spot! We went on a Thursday for dinner so we didn’t get to try the specials, but what we had was great. We got cheese curds, burgers, Philly cheesesteak, grilled chicken wrap, fries, and side salad- everything was great and the kids ate every last bite. Service was great, very friendly staff. We will be back and look forward to trying some of the specials.

The food took a good 30 minutes to come out, once we got it 2 plates were completely wrong. we tried to order mixed drinks and were rejected for the reason of not having a bartender. didn’t get the first refill either on any of the drinks at the table.

What a nice little place for a quick bite! Limited menu, but food was delicious. Two of us had burgers and beer and bill was under $25. Can’t beat that.

Loved this .our 1st time visiting . If before 5 a limited menu but was still great .we all had the carolina burgers and fries ..cheese curds were the bomb!

My sister and I took a drive along the river close to Todd, NC and stopped at the Riverside Restaurant to try the food. When we went in, the restaurant was packed with diners but they took us to a nice table. We ordered the prime rib. It was the best prime that I had ever eaten along with a salad, baked potato and mixed vegetables. The bar drink that I had was a tall Long Island tea. The wait staff all worked together making it an enjoyable meal. This is a true diamond in the ruff.

Love their food .greatfood each time we go.pulled BBQ delicious...

Only had a buffet that was way overpriced for the quality of food.

They served a 21.95 buffet plus 1.99 for your drink. The salad bar was basic. The buffet food was ok the Hamburger steak was cold and everything was not home-cooked. To call this a country buffet is a disgrace to country cooks. And no dessert! Save your money go somewhere else.

My first time was here at this Restaurant and I love the food and it was my childhood Restaurant and my family has always passing it while we were going to our Trailer up in the Mountains in Todd, NC and it is still my favorite Restaurant in the town of Todd and The town of Brownwood, NC and my family and I will still be going back there for any of my dad's Work for the Trailer up in the Mountains in Todd, NC and I still love this sexy Restaurant that I have been to for the first time when I was a kid and I am now 18 years old now

What a hidden gem in Todd! Our first visit this weekend and we were impressed with the fresh flounder and shrimp, both lightly breaded and delicious. The homeade coleslaw was finely chopped and seasoned well and the sautéed veggies were exceptional. Hubby had the country fried steak and it too was tasty. Service was good and the restaurant was immaculate! All homemade from scratch. We will be back. They also serve brunch Sat and Sun. Check them out!
