Good lunch spot as we arrived into the Boone area. Staff was attentive. A good varied menu. We just stuck to sandwiches but I could see plenty of folks having fork/knife meals. It definitely gets busy at prime lunch time
My partner and I took a day trip to Boone which ended up being a bust. I've never been anywhere that had worse city planning than Boone, NC. We ended up leaving Boone early feeling quite frustrated.The Blue Ridge Diner made the whole trip worth it. The food was nothing short of amazing. Quaint little diner nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains with the most delicious fried pickles I've ever tried. Crisp, hot, flavorful and served with house made ranch for dipping. The burgers were fresh and juicy, but didn't feel heavy or overly greasy. Our server was welcoming and prompt, and to top it off the prices were fantastic. Will definitely be going back again
