Coffee House Diner is a great spot to visit, especially on Sundays when they stay open until 10:00 pm, a rarity in small North Carolina towns. The staff is attentive and polite, with waitresses who make excellent menu recommendations. The menu features tasty house-made ranch dressing, Belgian waffles with pecans, and crispy hash browns. The Philly cheese steak with bacon and french features actual cut steak, not processed meat. The diner is wheelchair accessible and has a great atmosphere. While the burger buns could be improved, the food and service overall are excellent, making it a must-return spot.
