My waitress was very courteous & helpful. I love a waitress who smiles & enjoys serving you.
Sunday evening breakfast for dinner ended up being the best pancakes I've had in my life. The food is excellent, but don't go if you fear butter - there will be a lot!
The service was great, just the right amount of attention and all the orders came out exactly right.
I'm amazed they were holding it down so well on a busy night with just one cook and one waitress.

Coffee House Diner is a great spot to visit, especially on Sundays when they stay open until 10:00 pm, a rarity in small North Carolina towns. The diner has a nostalgic 1960s vibe, and the staff is attentive and polite, with waitresses who make excellent menu recommendations. The menu features tasty house-made ranch dressing, Belgian waffles with pecans, and crispy hash browns. The Philly cheese steak with bacon and french features actual cut steak, not processed meat. While the food is very good and the service is consistently friendly, some customers have noted that the diner could use updates as the inside appears old and sticky. Despite this, the diner remains wheelchair accessible and has a great atmosphere.
