This place reminded me of the Waffle House, except the food was way better! I scarfed my food down like I had not eaten in 5 days! It was delicious! My daughter got the livermush and it was cooked exactly the way she likes it-crispy.
I give this place 5 stars considering the local competition for breakfast. Food was good and pretty quick. Service was quick for being a pretty busy Sunday morning. Coffee was great. Reasonable prices too. We will be back.
The diner is nalstalgic, and has that 1960s draw. The food is very good and the waitress is friendly and accommodating.. .. my only issue is like alot of Southern eating establishments, she didn't know what I was asking for when I ordered a cup of hot tea, and the waitress said " we aren't that "Boujey" LOL! I felt like that odd "Yankee" passing through enemy lines, a bit archaic for 2024. A cup of very hot water on a saucer with a Lipton tea...
