Village Inn Pizza Taylorsville

I would never ever eat there after reading all the reviews. I used to eat there when I was a young teenager. Then, I started going to Giovanni's pizza. I am now 62, and have been dining there since. They have the best Italian pizza in Taylorsville. My husband and I drive down from West Jefferson NC about every week.
I don't know how Village inn stays in business. I was repulsed when someone showed a picture of a roach 🪳.

Giovannis is the next parking lot next to KFC. I'm shocked nobody even mentioned trying Giovannis.

Don't eat at Village in an risk food poisoning.

Eat here quit often because it’s convenient. Salad bar needs spoons instead of tongs for veggies and eggs. I always get a water and am handed a super small clear plastic cup as I assume they have trust issues with someone paying for water then getting a soda. So today I asked for a styrofoam to go cup and they tried to just hand me a plastic lid for the short clear cup for water. I said no sir please give me a to go cup. They then charged me 3 additional dollars for a styrofoam to go cup because I could put soda in it instead of water. So sad.

Pretty good

One of the best salad bars around and their spaghetti sauce is unique to their chain of restaurants only. DELICIOUS!

SERIOUSLY! CAN I GET SOME SAUCE TO GO WITH MY NOODLES!

We had a party of 15, showed up with no reservation and the staff didnt mind at all. The food was great. The staff were so friendly.

As I’m sitting in the restaurant while there are maybe five other occupants, there is nothing on the pizza bar except two slices of pizza. Salad bar was okay, lettuce was a little old tasting but nothing too extreme. Had to ask to have the ranch and croutons refilled despite the establishment being basically dead. Pizza bar hasn’t been refilled for about 35 minutes now and counting. We’ve eaten here once before but said we wouldn’t be back due to the same exact issues.
Our fault for giving it another shot.
Wish it would get better as this one is closer to my house than the others.

Worst Village Inn I’ve been to… Don’t waste your money at this one! No pizza on bar nor hardly any put out, cold pizza only thing on bar most the time we was there!

Walked in food was cold and stale no pizza on the bar, service was horrible had to continuously ask for food to be put out meanwhile they’re playing music and having the time of their life while customers are waiting for food. Honestly and truly the worst village inn I’ve been too.

Got to facility and it was pretty dead at the moment. However walk in and no pizza on the bar expect two half of pizzas that were cold from where they apparently been sitting for a while. They finally put a cheese and pepperoni pizza out about 10 minutes after we get there and that’s the only ones. Not pleased at all. Staff just sitting around chatting it up like there wasn’t anything to do when they definitely need more on the bar…. By far the worst village inn I’ve been too!

I have eaten here many times and sadly this trip wasn't good. Ordered a pizza and the crust was ice cold inside. Questioned the girl at counter her answer was i don't cook...

We came in around 4:30 on a Sunday & it was fairly steady. Lady up front was friendly & helpful. They let the buffet get completely empty or only pretty old desert pizza before bringing out anything fresh. But it was good. Could have been better, but I didn't leave upset or hungry, so..
