Made the hour drive from Winston on recommendation. Amazing scenery and location, excellent food and service. Definitely a hidden gem. We will be back... probably soon!

We celebrated our wedding on November 1, 2025, at Roaring River Vineyard. The venue was perfect, located along the river, with both an outdoor ceremony space / arbor and a covered pavilion with retractable walls for the reception. The lodging easily housed our wedding party (14 people can stay on site). The indoor Gathering Place was great as well, providing a large banquet table for the rehearsal dinner, another full kitchen, and a space for meals all weekend. It had 3 large couches and an indoor fireplace too. We were easily able to relax and enjoy our time together with family and friends. Chelsey, the vineyard event manager, helped to answer our million questions in advance and coordinated the entire event with our wedding designer. She even was the bartender for the wedding. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to be able to make a weekend out of it. Stone Mountain State Park is 10 minutes away for hiking too.

I absolutely loved this winery. I would recommend sitting outside when you visit because the view is amazing. The food served at the winery was delicious. We only tried the appetizers, so I can only imagine the meals are just as delicious!

Really hesitant to share this beautiful place because don’t want to see it overwhelmed like other wineries in the area. But they sure deserve the recognition. Everything about it is perfect for us!

Didn't eat, just wanted some beer the women was not was very helpful or very friendly at all, acting like we were bothering her , had a group of 6 , first time , don't think we will be back, the waitress was very nice

Roaring River has the best atmosphere. Absolutely beautiful views by the river. So relaxing. The food and wine are the “icing on the cake”!
