Alvin's is one of those local favorite stops where you can still get a cheeseburger at $4.75. The breakfast biscuits and gravy was a big plate of goodness.
There is a hardware shop attached where you find just about anything. Family owned and operated Alvin's daughters were running the kitchen. @destinationthisway”
“Always a joy spending time at Roaring River and Chez Josephine. Food, atmosphere and wine never disappoints. I do miss the Belgian waffle for dessert though! Looking forward to another visit!”
