Great pizza
Sir Pizza is a favorite from my youth in Florida. Imagine my surprise when I learned that Sir Pizza had a presence in NC. Albeit not all that close to home but accessible on occasion. We visted the Troy NC location as it was convenient to a planned vist to Mount Morrow State Park. I was so pleased to relive a childhood/youg adult memory. It was as good as I remember, no better! It was a great experience all around. We were seated promptly. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Our drinks were refilled multiple times. The dining area is nostalgic—but not neglected. The restrooms were decently clean. Compared to other locally owned sit-down pizza restaurants I have been to, it is more affordable. The crust wasn’t soggy and had a crunch. If you are not a big fan of bold garlic flavor, this pizza will probably be to your liking.

Sir Pizza of Troy is a gem in town with a pleasant, relaxed, and cozy atmosphere. It offers simple, small town vibes and is a great spot for lunch with friends or supper with the family. The restaurant is known for its excellent and delicious Midwest style pizza, which is cut into neat squares. The crust has the right amount of crunch and toppings go all the way to the edge. The pizza is phenomenal and nostalgic, almost spot on to Pizza King from Richmond, Indiana. A great side salad is also available.
The service is prompt with very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. The place is super clean, the wait is not long, and the parking lot is well lit. It is a kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible establishment. The experience is absolutely great, making it a must-try for anyone in Troy craving really good pizza.
