Great food in an adorable environment delivered by friendly people. What more can I say? Oh, yes, there is ice cream! We love this place.

Stopped in a few days back. Servers were quite confused on where to seat 2 people (us) with only a dozen options available. Told them this first table would suffice. I think I had a burger 🍔 but I don't really recall. What I DO remember was the potato salad. It was delicious, albeit very small portion. My wife had the tuna melt that was more of a toasted tuna fish sandwich than a melt, but it was acceptable. Servers didn't seem to have a good working relationship with each other. You could just feel the vibes as well as the tension. It was like each wanted to be the head cheese, or so it seemed. If it weren't for the fact that we'd met the owners when they first opened the ice cream shop, I'm not sure we'd return too often, but we're always (mostly) up for giving 2nd chances. We'd had breakfast here before & it was good, but this time it was just confusing.

New to the area and so glad I stopped in for lunch today! Really cute spot with a great menu. I sat outside because the weather was so beautiful. My server was really nice and helped me choose the tuna salad over the chicken salad. I went for the tuna melt with a side of macaroni salad - both delicious! Super fair priced, well-made food. I can't wait to try more of their menu!

Love this adorable breakfast and lunch spot in Tryon! Great location and adorable atmosphere! Staff is lovely! I had the turkey bacon and avocado sandwich! The turkey was so moist, the bread was thin sliced and crispy and there was generous amount of REAL bacon (no thin bacon here)! Loved the ultra thin cut fries that were fresh to order! A unique fry always wins my heart! Dessert cabinet was full of the most delicious looking desserts and ice creams but I was stuffed from my lunch portion! Will return for sure!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trade Street Diner, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a charming corner of town, this gem of a diner captures the essence of comfort food with a gourmet twist. The ambiance of Trade Street Diner is inviting and cozy, perfect for a casual breakfast and lunch. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern chic and nostalgic charm, creating an atmosphere that feels both familiar and unique. Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish I tried was a testament to the diner’s commitment to quality and flavor. The menu offers a delightful array of options, from classic breakfast staples to innovative lunch creations. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and each meal is prepared with meticulous care. My personal favorite was the avocado toast with poached eggs – the perfect blend of textures and flavors that left me craving more. What truly sets Trade Street Diner apart, however, is the owner, Tania. Tania's passion for her craft is evident in every aspect of the diner. Her warm and welcoming presence makes every guest feel like family. She takes the time to greet her patrons, ensuring that everyone feels at home. Tania's dedication to her community and her unwavering commitment to excellence shine through in every detail, from the food to the service. Trade Street Diner is more than just a place to eat; it’s a culinary haven where comfort meets creativity. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit to Trade Street Diner is a must. Kudos to Tania and her team for creating such a wonderful dining experience. I can’t wait to return!

Stopped in on a hot Saturday evening & got some amazing ice cream ! I am so glad I did! The 2 young ladies were very nice & informative. & patient, while I asked questions & had a few samples. I am looking forward to going back & trying another flavor soon ! ??

Parking: I'm not local so the parking was scarce for me unless there is a local lot / garage I don't know about.

The service was amazing. We had a large group with a lot of kids and they did everything they could to accommodate and care for us. With a lot of kids you hope you won't be too big of a burden especially when it is a smaller space but they did a great job. Food came out very fast!
