My wife and I stopped in Tryon for lunch on our way to visit a couple of wineries in the area. Stropping at random, we found ourselves at Trade Street Diner. Perfect place to enjoy their turkey avocado BLT and chicken salad croissant! We were well pleased.
This is such a cute place!! We both had the hot dog basket. They grill their hot dogs AND buttered buns. The french fries are shoestring, and the onion rings are battered to perfection. Their location is nestled in a picturesque mountain town. It is shear perfection!! They serve an apple pie a la mode that is to die for and several fabulous ice creams!! It's a go-to for us when we're in the area!! 1000/10 recommend!! Oh, and the service is great, too!! I forgot to mention...
Hands down one of the best ice cream shops i've tried. I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur and like to give every place a shot and this one is definitely up there. I am very picky about my ice cream so this is saying a lot. The service was also fantastic the lady that helped us was so sweet. I will be coming back every time I'm in the area and will also be trying to the food next time based on the reviews and pictures. I can't wait and I will leave another...
