“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hotdog & Hamburger Haven in Dunn, NC, and I’m already looking for an excuse to go back! As a professional wedding officiant, I travel a lot for weddings and I love discovering hidden locally owned gems like this.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming —a perfect small-town diner feel. The friendly gentleman at the counter made me feel right at home, and you could tell this is a place where locals come to for a great lunch.

Now, let’s talk about the hotdogs. They’re absolutely fantastic! They serve steamed buns—soft, warm, and the perfect complement to the flavorful, perfectly cooked hotdog. The toppings were generous, fresh, and exactly how a southern hotdog should be served.

“Probably the best place I have been to in Dunn since Zane's closed down. They are adding staff but sadly, not everyone can handle the volume they get sometimes. With the hours they are open and currently only 3 exceptional mixologists. Zach, Sam and EEEEEE, I don't know how they could be faster and still manage a simple conversation with a customer. “This is the toughest place to rate. I think for Hardee's has great food. Both breakfast biscuits and their burgers. The problem is they can never find consistent help. Service is excellent at times and non-existent at times. We even had the doors be locked because they didn't have enough help. They need to clean up their soda machines to provide good, consistent soft drinks. They usually have some specials going on if you're looking to save some money.“

“Applebee’s at the Hatfield is always consistent with food and service. Staff is always friendly and efficient with seating guests. Service was on point. We didn’t wait long for our entrees. The timing for our appetizer and dinner seems to be off sometimes. This time they came out 10mins apart. Overall we enjoy it here and recommend it here.“
