What a great spot ! Food is delicious from the burgers to the pork chops. Breakfast is also fantastic. We met the owner, Tracy, today, so nice !! We will be back often !!

This is possibly one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. It seems to me that if you are not a regular than your service does not matter to the staff. I watched my waitress entertain the other 3 guests in the restaurant while ignoring me. I came in and sat myself and then another individual came in clearly after me but was waited on first and I was walked past several times. When he got his order I was then given the ability to place nine. The waitress refused me silverware and paper towels or napkins. The bathroom were incredibly disgusting. I had to clean it myself to feel safe while in there. The food was awful. My hotdogs was cold in the middle, the burger was a flavorless frozen pattie. The wings were under cooked. I got some of the worst food poisoning ever from eating here. But I reckon that's what I get for eating at a restraint bar that serves people only from Styrofoam plates. Never will I return to this God awful establishment.

I met a friend here for lunch and was NOT impressed. The wings are pre seasoned & arrive frozen. They fry them and add a generic sauce. (Think McDonald's when they had wings in the 90s but sauced ?). They were out of mac/cheese & had ZERO veggies available on a Friday afternoon... NONE. So, I ordered coleslaw instead and literally gagged when I tasted it. My friend was so embarrassed because she loves this place. 2 stars only because the waitress was attentive.

Wonderful food and great staff. We go several times a week. Haven't had anything that wasn't good!!

My sister and I had lunch here today. We chose a vegetable plate, served with hush puppies. Delicious! We noticed that the salad bar was well stocked and tempted us. Daily specials are a meat and three sides. Burgers, hot dogs and such are also on the menu. We heard that breakfast is good too. We can't wait to go back. It's in a simple, not remarkable building but don't let that deter you.

Kid-friendliness: Casual, kids are welcome.

Parking: Plenty.

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps that I can recall.

Cheeseburger and tater tots were delicious and the sweet tea was perfect we will definitely be back.

Great food friendly service one of our favorite places now.

Stopped by on our way to the shore. Glad we did. Owner greeted us a provided a great lunch. BLT, wings, dogs and fries and all drinks were incredible. Friendly staff....support a local which also supports the economy better than the dirty, impersonal fast food joints nearby. Worth a stop. Be hungry. And great prices too. Thank you Driftwood.

I really enjoyed my first time eating at this restaurant, but they do not offer in their menu hash browns!!! The breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. I really had a good time. Be back soon.

Took my Granny there on 5/15 for lunch..we both had test burger I had in 5+ years I’m not playin..prices were fair also-sweet tea, fries, fried pickles, and salad bar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped on our way home from the beach. We were desperate to watch the Kentucky Derby, which was starting in 20 minutes. Tracey dropped everything to find it on her TV. We enjoyed great cheeseburgers and fries, while we watched. Can’t wait to return to try the rest of the menu.

Disappointing! We are traveling and saw this restaurant on the road.We were greeted immediately by a very soft spoken young lady and directed to sit where we would like. While it’s called Driftwood Restaurant and Bar, they do not serve Liquor, Beer or Wine.We looked at the laminated menu’s and noted numerous spelling errors,Nice little salad bar set up, unfortunately only serving iceberg lettuce, a spring mix lettuce would be a better option.Ordered coffee and the server said she would make a fresh coffee, coffee was good until…. Powered creamer was served in a little container….. yuk!The restaurant offers daily specials, we chose to order off of the à la carte menu.Our order:HotDog ATW,Double Cheese Burger ATWFries (well done)Small salad bar.A few minutes later the server returned with styrofoam dinner plates for someone else…. Not sure who, as the restaurant was empty. Wereminded her we ordered hotdog & hamburger.She said Ok this must be a back order.Food arrived, Double Burger was a single burger, fries were merely warm, hamburger bun was cool, not warmed up, no lettuce or tomatoes only little bits of cabbage, when I showed the server and inquired if the Burger was a double or single? She said she didn’t know, would ask WTH? Never responded back….Burger was Ok. It was a single.HotDog ATW was Ok. For the salad bar (supposedly 2 options-large and small) we inquired where salad plates were, told on top of salad bar. Only one size (small) styrofoam bowls offered.When our food was served, I believe the cook brought it out in a wire basket, instead of placing it on the table she stood back handing it to us. waited a few seconds to see if she would set it down, she did not so I reached and took it from her. Very odd….Over all our experience was less then good. The server was so sweet I hated to say anything directly to her.Checkout was not good, we didn’t receive a bill at the table so we walked to the register to check out. The server asked us what we had ordered? Really? We went over it with her and then paid in cash, unfortunately the sweet little server had zero knowledge in counting cash back-relying on the register to tell her.For the Owner/Mgmt. training is highly recommended and needed with your servers, cook and other staff, proper handling of food, verify order is correct, check food is as the customer ordered before serving.

We had burger,fries and pintos and collards.All delicious and fresh! Can’t wait to have meatloaf and turkey and dressing! And,breakfast!
