I took the waitress's recommendation and had Jalisco chicken instead of Arroz Con Pollo-- great choice. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Prices were good and service excellent. This won't be our last visit.”

“While waiting in a 6-hour virtual DMV line, we searched for something to do and found this place! My husband is an avid pool player in Charlotte, so it was a perfect fit. It was a quiet day, but the owner was wonderful—friendly and welcoming. The tables are in good shape and only $1 per rack, which is a great deal. And the food… oh my goodness, absolutely delicious! We ended up ordering more than planned because it was that good”

“This quaint eatery is located in the heart of the rural town of Wadesboro, NC. Interestingly, it is the only restaurant that serves full course meals for miles.

The hospitality of this establishment is one-of-a-kind. The Waite staff is friendly and attentive. The seating is more than adequate and comfortable. The Southern, down-home soul food is tastefully seasoned and full of variety. Parking is plentiful.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I look forward to my next visit.”

“La Fogata was really good. Service was prompt and efficient. Table side guacamole was superb. I had mole chicken enchiladas which were fabulous. Wife had a chile relleno, which she said was very tasty. We dined during restaurant week so they had a limited four-course menu, which included guacamole, appetizer, entree and dessert. All very good. We don't live in Santa Fe - but would recommend. Only downside is the downstairs location which affords no view and scant ambiance.”
