“Friday night we ate at Oliver’s, and it was another great experience. We got there close to closing time, but you would have never known it. Every single waitress treated us like we had all the time in the world. The place was slammed, yet the service never slowed down. They were patient, kind, and kept communicating with us, telling us not to worry about the time and to go ahead and order whatever we wanted. You could tell the staff takes real pride in that place. They were running that restaurant like the owners, Jeff and Liz, were standing right there. That says a lot. I ordered the fresh flounder, and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and fresh. I added the salad bar and finished with key lime pie. Pastor Johnny had the double cheeseburger with the salad bar and some kind of chocolate peanut dessert that was amazing. We’re still not even sure what it was called, but it was delicious. When you look around the room, every table is enjoying themselves. Families talking, laughing, just having a good dinner together. That kind of atmosphere is hard to find these days, especially when you’re trying to stay away from processed food and eat real meals. We’ve been eating at Oliver’s for about five years now, and honestly it gets better every time. We never get tired of it. The food is good, the environment is welcoming, and the staff is always kind.”

“Family of four ate there for jthe first time. Son and my wife really liked the Cheese Steak Burrito; daughter-in-law devoured chicken and beef tacos. I took the waitress's recommendation and had Jalisco chicken instead of Arroz Con Pollo-- great choice. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Prices were good and service excellent. This won't be our last visit.”

“We stopped by this restaurant on our way back to Western North Carolina from vacationing at the beach, and oh my goodness… are we glad we did.
The food itself was incredible. There is a hot buffet, which looked delicious, however, we chose to order off the menu.
My husband had a double cheeseburger, which had been hand-pattied from fresh ground beef. I feel certain there was close to a full pound of meat, and the burger itself was amazing.
Our 15 yr old granddaughter had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, made with a grilled ham steak rather than chipped ham. For her side, she chose fried dill pickle chips. She was only able to eat half of her sandwich, so my husband had the other half for his supper after we got home. Even heated up in the microwave, that sandwich was still delicious.
My fish sandwich was the best one I’ve had since the last time we visited the seafood restaurants in Calabash. It was an entire piece of what looked to be flounder, so fresh you would have thought it had been caught that every day. The bun had been lightly toasted and the coleslaw was exactly as it should be for a fish sandwich.
I wish I had made a note of our waitress’s name, because I would like to personally thank her again for taking such good care of us. She was personable, engaging, and super efficient.
A gentleman, who I believe was the restaurant owner, was operating the cash register, as well as making his rounds throughout the dining area to check on the customers.
It takes a while to get your order, however, the “down-home” atmosphere and the incredible food make it so very worthwhile. If we lived in Anson County, we would definitely be regulars!”

“Passing through the area many times and finally decided to stop and eat here. We were not disappointed! We had fajitas for two and imtgey were delicious! The pico from the salsa bar is amazing. We loved their guacamole too.

“We try to stop in and eat at this restaurant every week.Its always clean,the cashier is always,always friendly,the food is fresh,hot,and at a great price.Normally we get the fish&fries with the 5 extra shrimp,and sweet tea,its hard to beat!!”
