“Read about this cute little place on my email from "Only in SC," and knew I had to try it. A friend and I went on a Friday, and she and I had the lunch special - a pork chop, two sides, a cornbread fritter and tea. We also could not resist the six layer caramel cake for dessert! We loved the food, and I bought a large container of their delicious chicken salad to go. It really is some of the best I have ever had, and the next time I visit, will buy it again, plus a container of their pimento cheese. The three ladies who work here were so sweet and friendly, and the cute little renovated building on Ruby's Main Street is spotlessly clean. “First time I’ve been here since I was a kid. Ms Carolyn makes amazing sweet tea. I can be an indecisive person and the waitress, Melody, indulged me when I said to surprise me on what kind of potatoes I would have, she chose curly fries and I’m glad cause they were good. The fried mushrooms were my favorite. My kiddo doesn’t eat condiments but she tried the honey mustard and actually liked it a lot and she ate chicken strips which is another first for her. 12 outta 10 recommend.”

“Food is pretty dang good... regularly stop here... hushpuppies are hard to beat especially when hot & fresh... same goes with shrimp. Pepperoni pizza is really good as well, it hasn't changed in over 20 years.”
