Lady Bug Family Restaurant

If I could give zero stars I would. A very nasty restaurant. Service was horrible, even though there were few diners in the place. The hot bar was not kept up, looked like it was near empty and dried out. We ordered from the menu and after waiting 20 minutes, our drinks had not been delivered, the waitress could not be found. We finally just walked out and went down the road to a better restaurant.

This quaint eatery is located in the heart of the rural town of Wadesboro, NC. Interestingly, it is the only restaurant that serves full course meals for miles.

The hospitality of this establishment is one-of-a-kind. The Waite staff is friendly and attentive. The seating is more than adequate and comfortable. The Southern, down-home soul food is tastefully seasoned and full of variety. Parking is plentiful.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I look forward to my next visit.

Old place not well kept up, stains on curtains and walls, rips and tears in chairs and booths. Slow service for an almost empty place. I asked if they had cream or half & half before I ordered coffee and was assured they did but ended up with artificial coffee mate.. food was good enough ND price ok... I would not recommend.

On one hand, I must acknowledge the delicious food and the excellent service. However, the establishment has an old-fashioned feel, appears unclean, and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Stopped by on my way through Wadesboro. I would have been better off stopping at Sonics. The waiter was not friendly and gave poor service. The server at the hot bar definitely didn’t want to be there or serve customers and it shows in her performance. The hot bar definitely wasn’t the way to go. I got the baked chicken it was cold and dry there was a good flavor drowned out with dryness and being cold. The rice and gravy was lackluster and the corn bread was absolutely terrible. The only thing that was decent and some what hot was the baked beans. The building definitely needs an update but why not make it look the best u can by doing a deep cleaning and keeping up with it?! Get better staff with better manners and customer service skills, get an actual HOT bar make the inside cleaner and more appealing. People would be more comfortable spending that coin. I bet the money to get a better location or update that one would come. Definitely will not return or recommend to a soul.

This is a greasy spoon. They have hot bar that consisted of fried or starch. It is priced extremely low. The location has not been updated in 15 years and shows it and does show signs of disrepair. Cleaning is not a priority here.

Im from Jersey org. And am very picky. However this place is so good. Price amazing food was diner style and huge and delicious. And our waitress Lady Bug 🐞 was so sweet and amazing. I will be driving over a hour to come back!!!!

Lady Bug Family Restaurant was more than I expected! You walk in and you are kindly greeted by staff. Everyone is so friendly and the restaurant is CLEAN! The food in the buffet line looked delicious and the menu had many options to choose from. Chef Clark and all the other chef working make excellent dishes. We ordered the Bud burger without the bun and some Hot wings. The wings were cooked to Perfection! The sweet potato fries were not only fresh, but the best sweet potato fries I ever had. Everything was 10/10! When we come back to visit, we will definitely stop here again! Thank you all! :)

Cabbage , collard greens all the good stuff. Plus the biggest and best burgers , you will not leave disappointed !
