The house is lovely up front and the main dishes were excellent. We were less impressed by the appetizer and dessert. The back of the house, where the restrooms are located, could use some attention to cleanliness and presentation. It felt like 2 different experiences from front to back. Overall though, I would definitely recommend it for the creative first and second courses and the very attentive staff.
Amalia‘s is a Wake Forest gem. It is superb fine dining, excellent service, and although a little pricey, what very good restaurant isn't. Want to enjoy a really nice meal in a quiet setting? Amalia's should be on your list.

If you’re the kind of person who likes authentic food from Tuscany this is pretty much a dream destination. The freshest and most authentic dishes can only really be found in the motherland, but Amalias dedicated culinary arts has to be tasted to be believed.
