“I enjoyed this little spot. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in. This was a last minute dinning decision. However, we had to waiters (shift change) and they were both great! The tables were nice the lighting was dim which created a nice ambiance. The food was good. I ordered a steak quesadilla. My only con: the tables are a little close together.“

“The Lemon Tree is such a treasure and the food is always delicious! I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying their extensive lunch menu, the special order sides at Thanksgiving, and recently we’ve been ordering the family meal plans while I’ve been recovering from a surgery. The food is always fresh and healthy, and it feels like a warm hug. And the lemon bars… highly addictive! The new location in the Renaissance Center plaza is perfect, especially now that you can browse Page158 books while you eat. It doesn’t get any better than a good meal and a good book!“

“My family and I recently celebrated my June birthday at Mellow Mushroom in Wake Forest. The entire staff was friendly, every person we passed spoke to us, and our server Lilly was an absolute delight. We had wings, cheese pizza, a calzone, and a gluten free Kosmic Karma that were all of exceptional quality. Lilly even surprised me with a (free!) birthday pretzel in the shape of a flower because I mentioned how my father and I love lillies and flowers after she introduced herself. That was incredibly thoughtful and it honestly made my day. My dad wasn't half way through lunch and was making plans to return for his own birthday.. in April.. but I'm willing to bet we make it back to see you guys before then! “My kids and I have celiac disease (and food allergies). So, birthdays usually mean I'm in the kitchen making something until I discovered Sweetheart Treats! We have had their cupcakes for two family birthday celebrations. And they even heroically saved me when I messed up my Wegmans order - baking me 18 cupcakes in an hour's time so that the party could go on. Also, the cinnamon rolls are amazing. :)

The yellow carrots was something i never had before, they were a lil too firm but other than that the entire dish was good! I would definitely come back again next time I'm in town. “The carne asada fries are really good. Tender steak, real cheese, and lime sour cream that really brought all the flavors together. The Pozole was very flavorful and delicious. Shredded beef quesadilla was delicious as well, most places out here don't season their beef but this was filled with flavor. So Cal Mexican food lovers, definitely try this place. So Cal flavors with a but if an upscale flare to it.“
