Horrible experience tonight after ordering a takeout order online. Waited over thirty minutes after promised time and was told several times that my order was coming. Eventually was told that it had never gone through. They wouldn’t refund me and told me a manager wasn’t available to help. The man “helping” was incredibly rude, argumentative, and condescending. Ironically, the manager was later identified and had been one of the people who told me my order was coming, when it wasn’t. Finally got the food after forty minutes and it was cold and gross. The cheese was congealed, meat was chewy, minimal beans, and overall gross. We definitely will not be going back. Their customer service is horrible and the food is even worse.

Coming from California, good Mexican food is tough to find in NC. My family has tried tons of Mexican restaurants in the area but we always come back to Tlaquepaque. We have never waited longer than we felt reasonable to be seated and the interior is clean and well kept. Their al pastor tacos can't be topped- they are a constant craving in our house! Our go tos are the Al pastor tacos, birria tacos, fajitas Guadalajara, and the chimichangas without the cheese sauce on top. We have never had a bad experience here and our kids always ask to come to Tlaquepaque when we ask if they want to eat out!

I always have great service here. The food is great and staff is always friendly. The even have a robot now that delivers your food! Also, my waiter had the robot bring my son dessert, and they sang to him without us even asking! How awesome for them to do that, my son loved it.

Best Mexican around. Only thing is, ever since covid I've noticed a drop in consistency.Update 2 years later from above... They're back to good consistency. Food is still great and the salsa is the best I've ever had--I buy a pint or quart every time I go. Just wish the prices hadn't shot up--but that's everywhere....Def best Mexican in this area!

Food was awful, it all tasted frozen. However the cheese dip and salsa were good. The service was awful the waitress had us wait for refills and our ticket over 20 minutes. Definitely not worth $90 I will not return.

The food is good everytime I go. Some people might rate the service lower because they pretty much bring your food out and come back not as often. I prefer this though. Food comes fast and the serving sizes are large.

Food was good, proportions were generous, and drinks were very good. However, four times they sang some version of Happy Birthday, they yelled very very LOUD and VERY VERY LONG!! It may have been fine if it was one or two times and shorter duration, but this made it very difficult to enjoy our dinner conversation as a good portion of our time at dinner was interrupted by yelling not singing. At our table the conversation was drowned out repeatedly. Other restaurants sing happy birthday, but this was excessive! We could not talk, it was not a reasonable consideration of all the guests. Our party was a table of 6, our bill with drinks was significant. The major conversation was about the “singing”. We could not hear the waiter, he could not hear us. This was not an enjoyable evening and we have been here many many times before and enjoyed the evening with friends.In the past. This has been one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area.
