Torchy's Tacos

We can’t thank Torry’s Tacos enough for hosting our recent Wake Forest Pride social and fundraiser! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. A huge shoutout to Elkin, who made setting up the event so easy—everything was well-organized and stress-free thanks to his help. On the day of the event, Tre Green, the amazing manager on staff, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The entire team’s hospitality was incredible, and they created an atmosphere that felt inclusive and celebratory. As for the food and drinks? Absolutely fantastic! Every guest raved about how delicious everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make this event such a success. We’re already looking forward to partnering with Torry’s Tacos again soon. Thank you for being such a supportive ally to our community!

Food was only ok, we did not get 2 of our items despite letting the employees know several times that we were missing items. As far as decore.. there was none. Just a big empty building. I will give them a second chance as they are fairly new, but it was nothing to write home about.

I like the food, but it's quite expensive for portions that are comparatively small to other counter serve burrito/taco places of similar quality. The accuracy is ok. I've ordered a taco with no onions twice and both times they added onions. Also the service is so slow at busy times! The staff is very nice and appears to be working hard, but something in the restaurant's processes takes forever. I came at 7pm on a weekday and only one person was working the register. I waited for 5 minutes for them to check out one person. One! I think it was in large part due to the customer, but there were people in front of me and several groups behind. Why is only one person working at dinner time?

The Democrat and Steak Fajita tacos were gross. The Democrat had no flavor, and the barbacoa was pure mush. It felt like they had re-heated the same pan of food for days. It was also INCREDIBLY greasy. The steak Fajita taco was cold (cheese was not even melted), and the steak was clearly not grilled. You could make better tacos at home. The restaurant itself was also not particularly clean, table was sticky and had leftover food from a previous party. They also forgot half of our order, and by the time it came out, we were already mostly done with the meal. They did have some great Guac.
