Weekend service problems
This is NOT a restaurant. This is the Business Office of the Owner of the McDonalds in Wallace NC.
If I could give half a star I would but anyway...I ordered two biscuits and a coffee, only received one biscuit and my coffee and when I went back only two minutes later I was told that I only ordered one and when I let them know that I would pay for the other one that the rude girl apparently didn't “HEAR†me say...the manager or assistant manager what ever she is didn't even talk to me she sent a young guy over to talk to me and told me that I would have to go through the drive threw again if I wanted to pay for the second biscuit that I had already ordered!! Maybe if y'all hired people that weren't rude and actually cared about their job then you would have happier customers! I will not return to the Wallace McDonalds EVER AGAIN!!!
horrible customer service
Clinton location now has kiosks so you take your own order. This slows down service because people are not used to taking their own order. You don't get a cup so you can go ahead and get your drink. I was told to ask the girl at the register for a cup which is how it used to work. You take a number to your table. The process before was smooth and quick at this location - you ordered, got your cup, then drink, then food was ready. I wasn't given a choice but why not leave kiosks for those who WANT to use them?
The owner continues to let them treat there customers anyway they want. I've complained time after time on the store manager but now it's gone to far. Ppl if you want to be treated badly and laughed at stay away from the Wallace McDonald's. My husband order bbq tenders ,big mac,2 happy meals and large coffe he asked the store mgr if it comes with fries she told him rudely no. Then turn away told her employee that he should ask for a combo and started laughing at him! Never will we be back there again ! Caison enterprise doesn't care about the way there customers are being treated it's all about money to them ! One friend and another and family will get this and not spend there money there to be treated badly !
Very helpful with the information I needed.
service and food horrible...where did the rest of that cheese go????
Fantastic place
How are these people still in business? How can you spend millions of dollars to remodel and rebuild and be WORSE than you were before? No wonder McDonald's is losing out to other restaurants. The franchisees are killing them.

I have been to multiple locations owned by the Caison family. 90% of the time I have walked away disgusted by some facet of the restaurant; management, customer service, order quality, order correctness, dining room cleanliness, etc. I always promise myself that I will go by the Caison office to speak with someone in person about ways I feel they could increase their customer experience. At no time has the office been open. Couple that with a lack of phone number and website and the story becomes a bit more clear. It seems the Caison family is content making money from the McDonalds franchise without caring about customer experience. I no longer frequent their restaurants because I was tired of a number of things: rude managers, careless employees, cashiers who told me to wait while they responded to a text message on their personal phone, price gouging, poor food quality, inconsistent food quantity, and the list goes on. I ask each person that reads this review (including any member of the Caison family) to reconsider spending their money at one of these franchises. By doing so you are speaking louder than any Google review or argument in the McDonalds dining room.
I placed an order in the drive-thru at 6:09 p.m. After paying and going to the first window, I was asked to drive to the second window. At 6:20 p.m., I parked my car and went inside asking why I had not received my order. I spoke with the manager, Jakel, who had a VERY NASTY attitude. He didn't try to find out what happened. My order was on the side and he gave to me. Then he told a gentleman who was standing beside me that he was going home. I could have spent $7.48 anywhere with people who have pride in their jobs. If a manager is like that, there is no way he can teach his employees differently. That is the second bad experience I have had there since the new store opened and I have only been there two times. No more!
I have never experienced such poor customer service. The long lines in drive-thru are completely unacceptable. Both McDonald's in Clinton, NC are known for long lines and high waiting times in Drive-thru. With the correct management I truly believe things would be better. I have worked at McDonald's for five years and I know for a fact that waiting more than 20 minutes in Drive-thru is a no no. Manager's first name is Anthony he was on duty during this incident.
I was at the Tin City McDonald's at 4:35pm today 8-6-17. So I ordered my food, $12.82. So the guy at the first window was very pleasant. He greeted me, thanked me and told me to have a good day. Half way to the pickup window I remembered I didn't ask for any Hot Mustard, just love dipping my fries in it. So when I get to the window the girl opens the window she never even greeted me, but she did go over my order. I asked if I could get 2 Hot Mustards & in a snappy voice she said yeah, but you will have to pay and I said fine. The girl asked someone how much they are. Well 54 cent for 2. I said ok and handed her a $ bill....she said, "Do you want your change"? WOW... yes I do! She then said she couldn't ring it up at the window & couldn't hold the Drive Thru up. WOW I reached out & grabbed my DOLLAR and dug out 54 cent. (So in that time she could have rang it up, but didn't. When I handed her the change I said did you put the Mustard in & she literally threw it in.
The location in Newton Grove is and has been awful for some time now. You never know what you will get in your bag at the drive through, biscuits are as hard as hockey pucks, workers act put out to be there, you never know if they will be out of/not have what you want to order, and sometimes you can use a debit/credit card and sometimes you can't (it just depends on what day it is)! As a long time resident of Newton Grove since McDonald's opened, it has done a steady decline in the past years. Please - if you can't do any better - just shut it down already!!!!
