Had family come in from out of town and it was decided to visit Del Rio Express. We'd all gone to the original Del Rio back in the day and were tickled that it was the same family cooking. Food was delicious, portions were larger and the old Del Rio Crew were awesome! Nostalgia at its finest. Definitely making this a go to place for dinner. 😋 Love the whole take out deal, though we did eat in.

Del Rio Express brings elements from the original Del Rio we all loved years ago. Everything is exactly how I remember! We’re up from FL visiting family & had to absolutely stop in to see Victor & crew. & of course order some of that delicious food we all have missed for years! I ordered the Jose Special just like I always did in the past & it was exactly how I remembered! So good I had to order again before going back to FL. The portions are huge & the food is hot! Don’t hesitate, this is a spot you will not regret choosing for dinner.

The food was authentically awesome. The staff is kind and courteous. The place is nicely decorated and clean. If it weren't so far away I would eat there every day (stopped there on the way from Fayetteville to Wilmington). Highly recommend 👌

We were excited to order Del Rio To Go two weeks ago on a Friday night . Nostalgic to have the Del Rio Special & the Kevin Special. Both dish’s were familiar yet improved upon. The quality of the to go containers was impressive as well. We will be ordering again soon.
