I am enjoying a brief stay in Wallace and I have been visiting places that I discovered on Google and I was very surprised when I entered Dixon's Grill. I was greeted by a smile from a lovely young lady and she explained how the process for ordering went and I had the breakfast burrito and it was very filling and cooked to perfection. If you are passing through for breakfast, take the time and go a little off the beaten path and visit this hidden gem.
I was looking for a different place to eat and found this out of the way diner. I found it after googling "breakfast in Wallace, NC". After swiping through all the fast food places, this popped up. The food was great! I got the Southern Omelet with a side of grits and a biscuit. It was definitely homemade cooking. I highly recommend you visit this diner. You better bring cash though, that's all they take. (ATM inside)
