HWY 55 is not a restaurant that I frequent, because there's not one located near me. But I must say that today my decision to stop here in Wallace was a good choice. The food was great, and I had great service from Drew. ?

I ate at this highway 55 today for the first time. This location has been here for many years, and I had passed by it on many occasions. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service at this location today. Although they were not busy at all, the staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was very good for fast food. Would highly recommend this location.Vegetarian options: Highway 55 restaurants are obviously kind of burger focused restaurants, but they do offer some salads, and grilled cheese. As well as fries onion rings etc. You can eat here if you're on a vegetarian diet. Probably wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who is strict veganDietary restrictions: They do have some variety of salads and other items which can fit a restricted dietParking: This restaurant has plenty of free parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this fast food restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is entirely ground level. Wheelchair accessibility is not an issue here. Spaces between tables are plenty wide for pulling up a wheelchair to one of the tables or at the end of a booth.

Food is never cooked the way you asked. Portions are never consistent. There's always young kids working who are to busy talking to pay attention to what they are doing. In the past few years they have sucked only had 2 good employees now they are gone. Nobody there ever has any work ethic they could care less. This isn't a one visit review I just finally had enough. I placed a to-go order here on 12/2. Part of the order was a Oreo concrete and a hamburger steak platter with plain extra gravy requested. When I received the order the girl asked me what kind of milkshake it was supposed to be. I told her it was supposed to be a Oreo concrete without crème and cherry. I received one with crème and cherry and a hamburger steak with barely any gravy on it. The service was horrible and a waste of $30. Will not be returning anytime soon.

I have no idea what happened with this last experience there, but it was awful ! The waitress was fine. The food, however, was horrible. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak, and it looked like they were trying to feed a baby bird. It looked like they chewed it up and spit on my hoagie. They sent the tater tots out, and they were barely warm and significantly less tots than normal. I sent them back so I could get some that were hot and I swear to you they sent the same ones back out except I'm pretty sure they put them in the freezer before they sent them back. Looked like the same amount except they were actually cold. I felt bad for the waitress, and she got a good tip. I hope she didn't have to split it with the cooks because they definitely didn't deserve any of that tip. I will, however, try it again because it seems like they change cooks weekly. Normally I love thos place.
Store was clean, staff was very friendly and waitress did a great job. Food was good and they never told us they didn’t have anything on the menu. It was a very pleasant experience. We will be going back!! Please go give them another chance.
This is a classic, southern country burger joint!We fed 4 people well, plus dessert under $60.The kids meals are served on pop-up paper cars, which impressed me. We loved the fresh orange-ade!We especially loved the ice cream and the classic burger joint theme. Walls are decorated with vintage art and photos of legendary artists; Elvis, Marilyn, John Wayne...We'll be back!

Walked in and viewed the sanitation grade. We decided to go online and look at the history and this place has a long history of low sanitation ratings. Decided we would eat elsewhere. Hopefully they can get their act together as we normally enjoy highway 55.
