Super friendly spot where all food is Cooked to order and made with love. Anytime I have a meeting at work, I call in my breakfast on the way, and every time I show up, it’s fresh, hot, and ready to go. The ladies that work there are naturals in the kitchen and they always make you feel welcome like you are rolling up to mommas or grandmas kitchen table. It’s down home delicious country cooking at its best. We don’t show enough love to the everyday places that have become staples on our drive or places that feed us when we are hungry, and Shan’s Place is definitely a place that deserves both the communities love and continued support! It seems like everyone wants to shout from the rooftops whenever they are dissatisfied with a place, but how about shouting your appreciation when you are satisfied? I am always satisfied after visiting Shan’s Place and you will be too! Would recommend to anyone, 5 stars plus!!!

This isn't a fancy place for sure. However, this is a decent place to eat when in the area. The food is very good, cook to order, and very reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly, and service was very prompt. They do have a vegetable plate if you are a vegetarian! I highly recommend this place if you are in this area and in the need of a bite to eat. Very good food at a very good price!
Vegetarian options: While I wouldn't go out of the way if you are looking for a vegetarian meal, they do have a number of vegetables available and they also have a vegetable plate at a very reasonable price! When I got it, you get your choice of three vegetables from their menu and your bread hush puppies rolls etc. Very good.
Parking: The parking situation here is nothing fancy. However, they have sufficient parking for the size of the place. It's a small place, so they don't have a lot of space inside nor a lot of parking outside. But there is sufficient parking for the size of the place and their business level.
Kid-friendliness: Your kids will probably be satisfied here. They have fries, hot dogs, grilled cheese, pizza, etc. You'll probably find something here that your kids will like or at least eat.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is a country store and grill. The place is ground level, spaces inside the restaurant are sufficient for navigating with a wheelchair. Someone in a wheelchair should have no problem getting around inside and outside this place. Although, be aware that the parking lot is a gravel parking lot so rolling a wheelchair might not be the easiest thing. But it's doable!

So glad I turned around to stop, was traveling back from the beach and wow what a find! Perfectly cooked burgers, hot dogs, fries, and service. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit next time you’re in the area

Accidently came across this place taking a back road detour. It was a God send because I was just thinking about food. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious! A nice thick patty, fully cooked through and not too dry. Bread tastes fresh, very soft and airy. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.
