Cute, clean and friendly small town diner. It's exactly what you'd picture when you visit a small town. Ate here after a hike at Hanging Rock. Nothing fancy, but good quality and friendly service. We'll be back again. Thanks for a great time.

Main Street Diner is truly a hidden gem. They have the absolute best burger around. Dont waste your time going anywhere else. Even if you don’t live in Walnut Cove, it is worth the trip to go and try one of their tasty burgers. The staff is friendly . The service is fast and the price is affordable. The quality of ingredients that they use is the best! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We will be working in the area for a few months so we thought we would give this place a try. Wow! Are we glad we did! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a smiling face. The Coney dogs there are second to none and the fries?, fantastic! The burgers I’m told are hand pressed and never frozen. We are guessing that’s what makes them taste so good. We haven’t had the ice cream yet but we definitely will before we leave the area. Super happy we found this amazing little restaurant.
Good old-fashioned diner food and awesome milkshakes! Reminded me of traveling with my family as a child. Will definitely be back!

No frills ... Just great food and service at very reasonable prices. I plan to return soon to try the banana split and club sandwich ... Although that's probably enough for two!

The outdoor patio services animals & smokers .. inside services all others! The atmosphere is comfortable, the music is relaxing, the food is HOMEMADE!!!! Cooked to Order!! Beyond impressed .. I give them 10 out of five ⭐️‘s!!
Way better now that the new owners have it and actually seem to care about taking care of customers. So glad the previous owners don't run this place anymore.
