Best fried fish and shrimp our family has had while on vacation. The straw onion rings are great. The desserts were amazing. The cashier was so nice and helpful with our family (5 adults 3 kids)had while we were there was listening to one of the rudest older lady yelling at other employees for about 15 minutes. We had to take 2 of our children outside because of the language this lady was using towards the other employees. We will be back often with friends but will not bring our children. Truly hope this lady is not a manager, if she is maybe the owners need to rethink of her position.The Lowe Family
Delectable tasty place in Wanchees. Intimidating at first as you hardly can see the open sign and when you walk in the ordering process is hard to comprehend. Walk right on through and a cashier will be on your left. Menu board straight. Seating area front and in the back past a merchandise area. Shrimpbasket is fresh and plentiful. Clambasket as well. Coleslaw creamy, French fries okay. The staff über friendly and ready to serve and help. We bypassed the dessert but were told they were all homemade. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff and crew. They knew exactly where to go to see the dolphins. We saw a lot of them, including several mom's and babies. The dog on board even knew exactly when and where to look, as soon as they got to the spot it got up and eagerly watched under the rail of the boat, adorable!!!!

We visited there on a Friday. Others in our group received meals that looked appetizing, & they enjoyed them. I chose to eat light, & just ordered a BLT Combo with fries, which they called a "breakfast sandwich." I love BLTs, & have eaten them at many different establishments. This sandwich combo however was not one that I would rate at the top of the list. It arrived at our table with the bread toasted, (which I did not want nor request), there was only a single pathetic piece of lettuce for the whole sandwich, no mayonnaise, & the small amount of bacon included was so hard & overcooked that I'm lucky I didn't break a tooth trying to eat it. Quite honestly, it was the worst BLT I've ever eaten. The number of fries I received was also ridiculous; 6 fries for an adult "combo." Really?? Most restaurants also offer free refills for tea; not so here.On the positive, the single occupancy restroom was clean. There was a paper towel dispenser, but they just had a roll of towels sitting on the counter near the sink. There was not a changing table available.The screened in porch where we ate was minimally functional; simple tables & plastic chairs, without any type of real decor or anything to add to the "atmosphere" of the dining experience. After we received our meals, we didn't see a waitress again. We bused our own table & left without any further interaction with anyone; not exactly the most friendly or welcoming restaurant we've been too.I think perhaps the best aspect of the experience was the water view. If it hadn't been so windy, (post tropical storm), we would have eaten outside at the wooden picnic tables; that would have been a much better atmosphere. Would I be eager to visit there again if I was in the area? No.

It was a beautiful evening and even if slow in the beginning we ended up seeing many dolphins. He and his co captain made the trip very pleasant.

Loved eating here. Clam strips, shrimp tacos, fries, fried pickles all excellent. Excellent service, friendly & casual low-key vibe. Look forward to returning soon!
