This was my favorite place to have chicken and hush puppies and coleslaw ever since they changed the batter. The chicken is just salty and it's not the same. I do not even hardly visit Smithfield's anymore. Maybe get a barbecue sandwich every now and then but they need to change it back. Trying to be cheap. Ain't good. What you had was awesome. You degrade your restaurant. You can even tell the cheap gritty taste on the hush puppies, but they're still crunchy and okay. Not a favorite...read full review
Regardless of which location one goes to the folks working there are always the fire driest, nicest and keep the place clean. If you don't know about their food..get moving..always worth stopping by and getting a hot plate of goodness.
