Bill’s is let down only with it’s service, which is pretty slow and painful to watch at times / hard to navigate if it’s your first time. If there’s any line at all expect it to take longer than you’d think for what should be a streamlined process by now

What was that 1/2 diameter red thing you put on my bun? I've never seen anything like it. Would it kill you to go to foodlion and get a pack of ballpark dogs, put a real dog on the bun and make $40 off each pack. What was that red thing?

The most unusual Chili I have ever had on a hotdog. They were out of slaw, so that was a disappointment. For all the hype in Magazines and social media, this was a let down. The locals might feel differently.
Bill's Hot dogs is definitely an iconic institution of Eastern North Carolina.

The worst hotdog I have ever had in my life. I had to make myself finish it and threw the other one in the garage. No slaw, no mayo and were out of banana pudding. 3 ladies standing around doing nothing.

The hot dogs have not changed in the 35 yrs since I had my first. Still the best. Got to get them all the way w chili mustard and onion. Service is slower than it used to be but worth every minute of the wait. They were $0.65 each when I had my first one.
