“best ever vegan and veggie options. we went to talk about an event to be catered and we tasted some mighty fine samples, y'all know how good her catering is! we then ordered 2 vegan dinners. Chef's choice, just vegan. Holy Cow, the food was beautiful, super tasty and we felt fabulous after eating, not stuffed and sluggish. And it was 2 meals. for all of you veggie starved restaurant goers, just call Chrislyn's and prepare to just indulge in healthy, yummy and you did not have to cook goodness!!! “Great Eggs Benedict! We order it weekly and is constantly wonderful. Eggs are perfectly cooked. I am impressed with the wait staff, as they are friendly, patient and kind with the elderly and couples with babies. Coffee is better than the usual diner coffee. You know a place is good when you see the same people there week after week.”

“My wife and I and another couple visited Washington NC recently and had breakfast a Pam’s Diner. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, our server was very personable and professional. Everybody made sure to speak and make us feel welcome. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The grits were perfect. The coffee was excellent. The folk at Pam’s Dinner really know something about southern hospitality. I highly recommend this little resturant in Little Washington.”

The special events where they bring the fishermen in to talk about their catch is a wonderful experience. We’ve been going there 4 years and are always pleased with our meal. “Parking: It can get a little crowded first thing in the morning, but it doesn’t last too long into the day and the lot is very open so you can just get in where you fit in so to speak.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love the grill selections just as much as any adult does. Aren’t many veggies in the selection.”

“We enjoyed visiting the Mulberry so much. We started downstairs where we met Sydney who was very kind and helped us out not only with our visit but also taking the time to help us find somewhere to stay for the night. Then we ventured upstairs to visit the rooftop where we met Colin and Lexi who served us while we sat at the bar for a couple drinks and some appetizers. Colin was a joy to talk to and hear about all of the interesting things he’s done and is doing. We followed that up with dinner downstairs where we enjoyed the ribs and the French onion soup.”

“This place is awesome ? it is now, my new happy place! The staff and patrons were amazing and friendly. There is so much to do there. They have a Chess board all set up and ready for play, dart boards, two pool tables and a new wave jukebox. They have a covered outside area with lots of picnic tables. I'm new in town and I'm so freaking happy I found my go to spot! Kudos Rebel Tavern!!!”

“I’ve been eating at Hog Heaven since the late 80s, the food is always amazing, fresh, hot and delicious, the family has always been friendly with a warm greeting, the restaurant is always spotless, you get twice the food you pay for, There isn’t another restaurant around that gives you great food for a great price, My favorite is the trout plate, for the people with negative comments maybe you should brush your teeth first and get the crap out of your mouth before you bad mouth our small town and our restaurants.”

“The espresso is wonderful! I stopped by here a year ago and started my day with one and couldn’t stop thinking about it. I live in Rocky Mount. Last weekend I was back in Washington and stopped in again. The same fellow who I assume is the owner (Gary?) made me another espresso and it was just as delicious as the one I had last year. He is a humble and generous perfectionist who crafts a fine espresso and goes out of his way to make sure that his customers are happy.”

“The best place to get bread, some of the best tortillas in town. Always fresh, best time to go is earlier. Bread goes out fast, they don't make much but if you come early there's enough for everyone. El mejor lugar para conseguri pan. Las mejores tortillas en todo la ciudad. “Marabella’s has always been a favorite restaurant for us. We recently dined there and tried their pizza for the first time. We ordered the New York style Marabella’s pizza. Hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever had! Our wait person was very courteous and efficient. As usual, our overall experience was excellent.”

“The Cobb zalad is my favorite! It comes grilled or fried and the lettuce is fresh. The eggs taste freshly boiled and the bacon is crisp. The cucumber and tomatoes are not soggy. Everything in this is crispy and fresh! Highly recommend the zalads

“I haven't eaten from Papa John's in years, however it was nice that my information was still in the system from my Charlotte days. We used to eat it regularly back then. The pizza was ok. I feel like there used to be more sauce and garlic to it back then.

Parking: It's in a mall and since it's holiday season traffic was kind of cray. But parking is available.”

My husband and I split an order of peel & eat shrimp as an appetizer. Omg. So good. The old bay and butter complimented them perfectly.

I had the catfish po boy with a side of pasta salad, and also added a side of cinnamon apples, with sweet tea to drink.
My husband got the Cajun catfish with pasta and had fries on the side, because we were dying to try their come back sauce.

Literally everything was perfect. I have never had catfish that was breaded and fried so lightly and beautifully, with just the right amount of crisp. The pasta salad was exactly what I was expecting, and the apples rounded out my meal with the perfect amount of sweetness.
