It's a drive up outdoor order and wait in your car kind of place. Ice cream is good! BBQ is great. Can be crowded with a wait.
The food is really good and the prices are very reasonable. We love the soft serve ice cream
Food was pretty good but they were very rude. Everyone waiting for their food was awkwardly quiet because of how they were treating everyone.
Good food. Great prices! Have come here since I was little. The wait is a bit long, and they can be a bit rude. Usually nice folks, so idk what was up
Their ice cream or any of the products from the ice cream side is amazing. The food side is completely different. My grandson wanted a BBQ sandwich from there, and i tried to tell him we would go somewhere else that sold BBQ and chicken, but little man was hungry, and his hunger won that one. Needless to say, it wasn't good the fries weren't completely cooked, just a total mistake. I tried to explain to the ladies behind the register, and they were like well maybe you shouldn't have let him get something he hadn't had from there before. Total disappointment on how they handled that. So that's my take on Dairy Palace. Great ice cream. I'm leary of the food side.
Grabbed lunch- burger fries and sweet tea phenomenal as always, eat here to feel like a local

My wife and I had more than a few good laughs with staff and patrons as we waited for our food. Didn't have to wait long, and it was dead on point!

Generous quarter pound hamburgers at a reasonable price. Friendly and efficient counter service. Clearly a local favorite for breakfast and lunch.

Until you get the health rating up from a 90 and better, Customer Service I’m never coming back!
Order window, no seating, so you have to park and eat on the water front! Don't litter, you! Try the banana split in a cup. Freaking delicious. I love the tater tots

I really don’t know why everyone thinks this place is great. It’s horrible, first off why not use a ticket system instead of relying on the cashier to remember exactly what everyone ordered. The wait times for the trash food are absolutely ridiculous and they don’t bother providing any type of seating while you wait. After waiting for over 30 minutes in direct sunlight with no seat, and every person that pulls up leaves their vehicles running so it’s completely uncomfortable while waiting. The sidewalk in front of the building is disgusting and the smell from the trash container 10 feet away baking in the hot Carolina sun was overpowering. I finally received my food and was completely disappointed with the wait time and atmosphere i didn't want to even give the food a chance. The fries were bland with no salt and the burger was large but way overcooked and the condiments on the burger tasted a bit stale.
