This place been around for years. They need to go back to the old always use some salt and pepper on the food will go a long way. It will boost your business back up. I don't want to pay for any bland food ? I ordered a chicken and cheese biscuit. Please stop cooking with cheap cheese. Go back to the extra sharp cheddar cheese and cook the chicken a little more and season the chicken with some salt & pepper and as well as the flour.

I used to love this place! The staff is rude as hell and act like if you ask for something it’s an issue. They cannot make orders correctly to save their lives! How do you read a ticket and still screw up?! They charge 25 cents for extra crackers!!!! And they give you a cup of soup with 2 packs only!!!!!!!! They charge for EVERY LITTLE THING! Fee for ordering online. Fee for using your card! I’m done with them! Good luck!

I was not ready for the excellent experience I was about to embark on with this establishment. Let's just say the food is simple and delicious. My flounder was fresh, not frozen with homemade tarter sauce and pickles. The cheese biscuit had the perfect chuck of cheese and buttery goodness. Biscuit so good I bought one to take home to jelly.
Grabbed lunch, the bbq chicken sandwich with slaw on it and side of corn nuggets and sweet tea. Everything was top notch as it has always been when I’ve been in town to eat here.

Iv been eating here all my life it's good down home cooking... Cashiers and cooks make it a great place.
Cheese biscuits (or rolls). I could stop there. I usually get a regular and then add an egg to another. True southern sweet tea. It is hard for me to order anything else. I have had the chicken. As the name implies, the chicken is king. This is one of my favorite spots for collards. The ladies that work there are always smiling and friendly. When I am in town, it is guaranteed that I shall be stopping there. It is not a question of whether I shall go back. Rather, when am I going to be in Washington again. Note about atmosphere, thus not a bad mark. There is just a few windows to order to go.
King Chicken has lost its touch! I ordered a cheeseburger all the way with fries and a large coke. I arrive to King Chicken 5minutes later and it's finished. First bite I notice the fries and burger are cold and the food IS NOT FRESH! You people need to do better than this and stop serving people old food because you don't feel like cooking it???.
