Nobody was answering, so I placed an order online through their website as directed by their telephonic recording. When we arrived to pick up our order, we were told they were out of cheese, so they offered to refund half of our order. I said I wanted a full refund and decided to spend my money, elsewhere. Then we were told the online ordering is through a third-party and couldn't be refunded. I didn't accept her answer. The lady in the front went and got another lady, that lady claimed the owner would be refunding me right then. I pull up the order and it still hasn't been canceled or refunded. I asked to speak to the lady again, I was told the manager left. I said I'd wait for her. Fast forward ab 10 minutes and I call the location, the same lady who told me the manager left lied to me and said she was the manager. After realizing I was still standing in the lobby, she retracted her statement and said she'd go "check to see if she's back". She brings another lady out entirely and said the other manager was gone. The second lady that came out was very polite, she was going to let me get the same value I was charged, in chicken. As we are finishing up, the manager that was "gone", walks up to her and scolds her. She has her walk back to the window and at the same moment I got an email saying a refund had been issued. I told her it was okay and nevermind. Then I see underneath in tiny print that I won't receive my $23.89 for 7-10 business days. So, because YOU were out of cheese and I tried to give you my business, I have to wait for my money? I'm out an HOUR of my time and you couldn't just let her give me the chicken? After being lied to multiple times and having my time wasted?! EXTREMELY unprofessional! I will NEVER eat here again. If they would've given me my refund when I asked for it, I never would've complained about the credit card wait. An hour later and the aggravation and I STILL have to wait for my refund and I still had to go spend money somewhere else. Just no. Do NOT order online from these people!!!! If they're out of something they don't even communicate it or update their website to let anyone know. She didn't try to issue that refund until she saw the other girl fixing the issue. Just ridiculous. Thank you to the lady that actually tried to rectify the issue, the other manager/owner gets zero stars from me.

Why offer daily specials if you don't have it. I've ordered delivery twice from here just for them to deliver only half my order which is drinks or a dessert and tell me they didn't have whatever daily special I ordered. Won't order from here again.

Food to high! Average food. The food isn't the same no more.
Food was cold. Potato salad was warmer then fried chicken and collard greens. Took the take out food into the back room to eat. No waitstaff in the eating area. Cheese biscuit was a biscuit wrapped around 1|2 lb of shredded cold cheese. Greasy and cold. Took 4 people for lunch and non of us will ever return. Worst fried chicken we ever ate.Sorry

I got the fried chicken which I thought was good but not anything out of the ordinary. I did like the fact that the chicken was nice, hot and seasoned! Barbecue could have been better. I tried the corn nuggets and those were pretty good. The coleslaw was okay and the hush puppies were subpar. The sweet tea is amazing!! The people working there were also very nice and friendly. Not a bad place to stop in little Washington.

I always come here to visit from NJ when I am here to get hush puppies! I got an order of 12 ,and lord help me I ate 8 of them my myself! I typically don't eat fried foods but I had to get some before my return back ! ??

The chicken is good. The biscuits are good if you enjoy a huge 1/2 lb slab of cheese in the middle. Not what I was expecting when I saw cheddar cheese biscuits. Not all items are available every day.But it's popular ... so maybe it's just me. Staff was very friendly.

Very disappointing. The cashier wasn't friendly or personable (borderline rude). The fried chicken sandwich was wayyyy over-cooked. For too much breading that created a think hard shell on the outside and very dry inside. Do not recommend it. Which is a huge letdown because I had heard great things.
