Friends have told me about Eastern NC cheese biscuits for years. I kept missing them, but today, I got to experience the phenomenon. I really enjoyed the staff and looked forward to sampling the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I remembered to pick up a few napkins. Wish I had picked up a whole bundle. The biscuit was a greasy mess. The grease from the cheese—or perhaps the fat in the biscuit itself—saturated the concoction. When I went in for a bite, I felt like a dog going into the bowl. I got grease on my hands, on my glasses, basically everywhere. The mess was a little off putting, but the problem I had was with the sweetness of the biscuit. In my opinion, neither biscuits nor cornbread should be sweet. You want sweet? Eat cake. Obviously, my opinion is my own, but I didn’t love the biscuit—but now I know.

Where do I even get started if I could give a zero I would the biscuits small i order 2 sausage and cheese biscuits hardly no cheese sausage look like it been cook two weeks ago I got 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuits bacon so burnt and nasty I took it off again hardly no cheese 2 drinks and go charge $41 never again very disappointed in the food the service and the amount bof money this use to be a great place gone down hill

Denise was very kind and accommodating by preparing the components of my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit separately. I loved her humor and quick wit. LaDonna was also very friendly. My friends ate a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and a smoked sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Martha was convinced the biscuits were made with hoop cheese. We chose to dine in, which seemed surprising to Denise. We liked the atmosphere. The patrons who visited the store were very friendly to us, too. We will definitely return when we are back in the area.
