Small little place thats great for a cheese biscuit in the morning! They also have many other breakfast favorites to choose from. Also great if you wanted to grab a quick bite for lunch. They also have a good selection of drinks and other gas station related goods.
We just left Mom’s grill and met Mom and her God daughter. We got there at 10am and she explained that they had been opened since 7am and the breakfast plates were sold out. We tried the cheese biscuit and it was on another level! We had some that came out the oven as we chatted with Mom and the cheese was gooey, the biscuit flaky and soft! Mom has been there for 34 years and is looking to retire soon. She is training her god-daughter in the way of the biscuit which will ensure the future of the best cheese biscuit in eastern NC.

The cooking staff are excellent plus. Great food. Lovely ladies. Arrived Monday morning. Standing at the door. 6 am and the girl sits 2 ft from the door. Doesn't open the door. 6:02. Doesn't open the door. One crap employee ruins the whole experience. I went to kings chicken for my breakfast.

Homemade cheese biscuits, crafted with care and love. I stop by every time I'm down in Little Washington to pick one up. Service is quick and it's all in an old gas station, nothing fancy, but it need not be fancy. Just give me more biscuits! 10 stars!

I was excited to try the famous cheese biscuits that I’ve been hearing about on my way to work one morning. Stopped in grab a sandwich and a wanted a coffee. The coffee pot was very low on coffee and I didn’t want old coffee. I asked the young lady behind the counter to make a fresh pot. She did. The older lady who makes the biscuits proceeded to cuss the poor child out. Told her she did the care who told her to make fresh coffee, don’t waste her coffee. Mind you, I’m standing right there. 2 stars for the young lady keeping her composure. I’ll go get fresh coffee elsewhere from now on.

The cheese biscuits was good. However, the ball of cheese in the middle was not completely melted down. When I went I ordered and the lady put something different then what I said. I thought maybe it was another customer order so finally she asked me what I get. I begin to tell her and she cut me off and said she done called that several times. I allowed her to finish and explain I ordered a little different then what she called. The lady was a little snappy. Chances of me returning is slim. I wish the business nothing but the best.

We came to Little Washington from Durham, NC. Strolled downtown and along the docks, ate at a few restaurants, shopped at a few shops, and drank at a few bars. On the way out of town we decided to make a stop at Mom's Grill because we saw the great reviews, and OMG did this place make our entire trip. I was not prepared for cheese STUFFED biscuits. I could have died happy after the first bite. Do yourself a favor. Make the drive. Make the stop.
The biscuits are great, the customer service however is another issue. This place is inside an old gas station mart. The chef is not friendly and if you don’t order your biscuits correctly, she laughs and mocks you and gives you something completely different than what you asked for. I asked for a bacon egg biscuit and came home with an egg sandwich on bread. Will not be back.

Stay away. I want this place all to myself, so maybe I should have left a terrible review. Place is awesome. Didn't know that a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit could be that much better than what you typically find. Man, was I wrong. I have seen the biscuit light. Sad thing is, I'm not sure if I will ever appreciate other bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits after a stop at this establishment. The bar was set, and very high at that. PS, super friendly staff--so another bonus!

Biscuits are off the chain good!! They serve over the counter, not sit down! Food was great! More like a hole in the wall type joint with a 100% Sanitation Grade!! Don’t let that outside fool you, this place legit!!!

The best biscuits I have ever had in my life. My family and I were in town and stopped by this little shop before we headed back home. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! We got the bacon egg and cheese biscuits and we wished we would've taken some for the road! The biscuits are homemade and let me tell you...you can sure taste the love . We will be back next year when we are in town!
