The Hackney is a great special occasion restaurant for dinner. My husband loves the The Hackney Double-Decker Smash Burger. My favorite is the shrimp and grits. My husband and I are local patrons of this restaurant. And from our many satisfied visits to this establishment I can promise you it is NOT your typical, run-of-the-mill dining experience! Whether you sit at the bar or have a more formal meal at a table the food and drinks are like no other. Chef Jamie always puts forth the best dishes, with the most beautiful presentations. The wine list is expertly paired with the dishes. The staff are kind, polite and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks being served. The atmosphere is fun and romantic all at the same time! Washington NC is on the map with The Hackney!
